Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

His sets are raw, high-pressure techno with a punky edge: hard kicks, dense loops, metallic percussion and long blends that keep the tension locked. The jungle and drum & bass roots show up in the speed and swing, even when he is running straight techno at full tilt.

More about Dax J

Dax J came up through London’s jungle and drum & bass world, then relocated to Berlin and built Monnom Black in 2013. He sits in the harder end of modern techno: marathon closing sets, precise mixing and a label catalogue that has helped define the current fast/hard lane.

A story

He played a 10-hour closing set at Berghain, one of the sets RA highlights in his bio. In their own words
