Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

Soulful house with disco moves and a lot of low-end heat: dusty samples, punchy drums, and the kind of sequencing that leans on feel over flash. His festival bio points to Afrobeat, J Dilla, and Detroit references, so expect a set that swings between percussive and warm, with some rough edges left in.

More about Dan Shake

Dan Shake is a London-based DJ and producer, with a Resident Advisor profile under the real name Daniel Rose-Weir. The story here is the Moodymann connection: he got onto the Detroit orbit by handing over a demo CD after seeing Kenny Dixon Jr with the 3 Chairs at Dimensions, and he has since built a reputation in that soulful, crate-digger house lane.
