Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

This is the full Concertgebouw orchestra, so expect a large-scale orchestral sound: strings with weight, brass that cuts through, and the kind of dynamic sweep Beethoven 5 needs. At ADE they’re paired with Boris Acket’s EINDER installation, so the set is as much about visual motion and architecture as pure concert hall balance.

More about Concertgebouworkest

The Concertgebouworkest is the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, based in Amsterdam and one of the city’s defining classical institutions. The festival text notes its work with Klaus Mäkelä, Riccardo Chailly, and Iván Fischer, plus the orchestra’s education and youth programmes; here it steps outside the hall for ADE’s anniversary presentation.
