Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

Coby Sey works with voice, samples, live instrumentation, and low-end pressure, so the music can move from smeared hip hop into dubby ambience and broken rhythm. In a live context, expect something loose and shape-shifting rather than club-locked, with space for grime-like edges, jazz harmony, and heavy atmosphere.

More about Coby Sey

He came up in South East London’s DIY circuit and is a founding member of CURL, with a long-running NTS show that maps the same leftfield territory as his records. His Bandcamp and NTS pages place him in London and tie him to Cardinal Loom and the city’s experimental/leftfield continuum.
