His Mute and official site pages describe hard, fast techno roots alongside a later minimalist, more atmospheric turn. At ADE, this likely means functional club pressure with stripped drums, looping tension and the occasional colder, more cinematic turn.

More about Chris Liebing

Chris Liebing is tied to techno’s late-90s hard, loopy era and later minimal period, then to Mute’s darker album work. He also founded CLR, which matters because the label became a key home for his DJ tools and techno network.
