Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

Her DJ sets move from bright, tuneful house into tensile techno, with left-turn edits and sharp transitions rather than constant pressure. The records and live sets on her site and SoundCloud sit between club tools, pop-leaning hooks, and a lot of space for breakdowns and crowd lift.

More about Avalon Emerson

She came up through the Bay Area underground and later became a fixture in Berlin and the wider European circuit, with releases on Whities, Spectral Sound, !K7, and Dead Oceans. In 2026 she’s touring both DJ sets and Avalon Emerson & the Charm material, which is the live band arm of her project.

A story

Her 2018 BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix was built from 40 tracks, with unreleased cuts from Nathan Micay, Aurora Halal, Overmono, E-Talking, Koehler, and two of her own. In their own words
