Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

Ape Drums came up on dancehall-leaning club music and still plays with that punchy, crossover approach: rolling riddims, big drops, and festival-sized low end. The ADE train slot suggests a set designed to work in a moving, high-energy club environment rather than a straight open-format warm-up.

More about Ape Drums

Ape Drums is best known from the mid-2010s dancehall-to-mainroom lane, especially the Vybz Kartel-featuring 'Worl' Boss' and work that circulated through club and EDM channels. His presence on a melodic/Afro house train bill is a reminder of how often he moves between Caribbean rhythm and big-room electronics.
