Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

French-Algerian collective blending club techno and Arabic elements
Based in Paris, France · Plays most in Paris, London, Berlin
Pulsing four-to-the-floor techno with acid lines, dabke and Arabic vocal hooks, built for long club runs and festival peak-time. Their live sets lean into hand-played percussion, synth abrasion, and a heavier, more dramatic lift than the studio cuts.
Started in Paris by Guido Minisky and Hervé Carvalho, with the project presented as a French-Algerian electronic music collective. Their records and sets are known for bringing Arabic instruments, vocals and Mediterranean collaboration into club frameworks, with releases on Crammed Discs and their own Bandcamp page.
Their first album grew after they teamed up with Algerian keyboard player Kenzi Bourras for studio and live work. In their own words
